Ashbrook Corporation Klampress, Refurbished 2.0 meter Belt Filter Press 

Complete with hydraulic system for belt tensioning and steering. Speed control for the press is via a mechanical hand wheel at the press.

New Sludge Feed Pump, progressive feed pump capable of feeding the press. The speed control for the pump is via a mechanical hand wheel at the pump. The sludge feed pump requires a minimum suction pressure of 15psi.

New Control Panel, requiring 480 VAC power. Panel will provide manual control of the belt filter press drive motor, hydraulic unit, wash water pump, sludge feed pump, polymer system, and connections for a sludge conveyor (by others ).

New Polymer System, a liquid emulsion polymer system.

New In-line, non-clog, Variable Orifice Mixer, complete with injection manifold system and a four-port vertex polymer injection ring.

New Wash Water Pump, belt wash pump which requires a minimum supply of 15psi at 80gpm.

New Skid, consisting of all components listed above pre-mounted and wired.

Refurbished Klampress Size 3 MKII (2.0 meter) shall have the following constituents:

Recoated set of 2 3/16” shaft rollers. Drive rollers recoated with ¼” Buna-N rubber. All other rollers coated with 25 mils of thermoplastic nylon. 

New complete set of roller bearing assemblies. Bearing housings shall have nylon coating. New housing internal components shall consist of new bearings with machined cage, new taper lock nut assemblies and new triple tech housing seals. 

New O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacture) steering and tensioning cylinders, with fiberglass outer casing, laminated phenolic heads, stainless steel tie rods and piston rods.

New belt misalignment switches, no cake switch and NEMA 4X stainless steel junction box.

New wear parts including:

UHMWPE discharge scraper blades

Gravity section UHMWPE chicane blades

Rubber seals on washboxes and gravity/wedge sections

UHMWPE wear bars on drainage grids

New press mounted drive gears and pinion gears.

New mechanical variable speed drive unit (Eurodrive K87). New 316 stainless steel feed chute assembly.

New carbon steel galvanized discharge cake chute. Regalvanized frame and all carbon steel components.

New 316 stainless steel drainage pans with SCH40 PVC piping. New 316 stainless steel washboxes and washtubes. New SCH80 PVC piping. New 316 stainless steel gravity/wedge section grid assemblies with poly wear bars. New carbon steel galvanized chicane rods and chicane casting. New poly chicane blades and new stainless steel set collars. New 316 stainless steel hyperbolic spreader.

New carbon steel tensioning yoke weldments. New carbon steel galvanized upper and lower scraper weldments and cross members. New set of Ashbrook Armordillo filter belts.
